Cancer and Pollutants in Food and Environment

There are several studies that trace the sources of cancer to pollutants (36,37,39). All modern industries today produces significant amounts of pollutants and the obstacles to remedy them are formidable because of profit motives. Also, processed food, junk food, junk drings, lifestyle drugs, recreational drugs,and all kinds of other drugs including prescription drugs, are all adding "pollution" to our bodies, and remedying these is also very difficult because, again, of profit motives. So what can we do to keep our bodies safe today? As the obstacles to eliminate pollutants are formidable, how do we protect ourselves from the toxic effects of these pollutants? I am offering the following list.
- Stop eating all food and drinks that are prepared outside of your kitchen! Invest more time to prepare your own meals and drinks in your own kitchen from fresh ingredients. And focus on your biochemical individuality (4,5) by keeping in your diet only foods that you feel good with
- Invest in the purchase of good spring water in PET or, better, in glass bottles for all uses related to cooking and drinking.
- Replace plastic food storage containers with glass containers, and replace plastic/silicone utensils with stainless steel and wood utensils.
- Invest time to find wholesome food sources by going directly to reputable farmers and meat growers
- Invest in growing your own food.
- Last but not the least, rely on vitamins mega-doses (especially vitamins C and B) supplementation to remedy the nutritional shortcomings of the food grown using modern methods. Vitamin C disables the toxic mechanism of several pollutants (31). And all vitamins are key to the numerous biological reactions needed for good health (1).
